In 2017, the British Council commissioned a new series of essays on arts and the public realm. The collection, entitled Where Strangers Meet, included 15 global perspectives of arts and the public realm from Cairo to Rio, Oslo to Cape Town, edited by Situations’ director, Claire Doherty.
